Mijas
A beautiful little village nestled in the mountainside at 428 metres above sea level. With spectacular views over the coast, numerous gift shops, restaurants and cafes this place is well worth a visit.
Puerto Banus
Puerto Banus is the playground for the rich and famous. With designer shops, chic bars and restaurants and buzzing nightlife it's a great place for a bit of celeb spotting.
Marbella

Aventura Amazonia
This is the largest adventure park in Andalusia and is only a short walk away. With 83 challenges in the trees and 20 ziplines for children of all ages this is highly recommended. Book online in advance.
Bioparc Fuengirola
Wander through this simulated tropical forest, lush with vegetation, rivers and waterfalls, you'll see crocodiles basking on the sandy shores of the Nile, Sumatra tigers bathing besides Angkor Wat, lemurs playing around an ancient Baobab tree and, if you're brave, bats flitting around abandoned mines.
Aqualand
Situated in Torremolinos this water park has rides for kids of all ages (and the adults too!). There is also a smaller water park in Mijas. Book online in advance for discounts.
Mariposarion de Benalmadena
In this spectacular Thai temple, you can walk among more than 1,500 exotic butterflies from around the world, flying freely in a tropical paradise between waterfalls and flowers. The kids will be able to observe how they are born, how they reproduce and enjoy learning many things about these wonderful insects.
Gibraltar
If you're feeling adventurous why not visit Gibraltar the British Overseas territory. Take a trip up the rock by cable car to enjoy the views of Africa and see the resident Barbary Macaques (the famous 'apes'). There are also caves and siege tunnels to explore.
